Turning more domestic every day…
Green Grass

My neighbor just commented on how nice our yard looks this year. Which is quite the compliment since we purchased the house last year and the lawn had been ignored since it had been a rental (the weeds in back were up to my waist).
So, my transition to being a proud suburbanite is nearly complete.

Weary of the tinkering needed to run Linux

I am trying to figure out how to get my CentOS system working on my wireless network. Each time I need to fix something in Linux it requires re-learning a procedure. By this point making changes in Linux should be more intuitive. Maybe I should switch to Ubuntu since that seems to be where the majority of OS programming effort is heading toward.
That seems to be my attitute with Linux these days. Sure. I can spend extra time learning how to fix something from the command line. But for now I don’t want to. I’ve grown weary of having to do this for every small new thing I need to setup.
