The first chapter is one of the funniest things I have ever read. Adopting the goofball TV free family who comes to the door to trick-or-treat on the day after Halloween, Oh man was that funny.
And the stories about his family (especially his brother) are hysterical. Sedaris is one of the funniest authors I have ever read. There were many times where I just burst out laughing out loud (the Danish Santa story being one).
I heartily look forward to reading more of his stuff. Highly recommended for folks with a smart alecky sense of humor.
